Chicken Dilkush


CHICKEN DILKUSH RECIPE

Ingredients Required

  • 500 Gms Chicken
  • 1 ½ Cup Onion Chopped into small pieces
  • 1 Cup Tomato, Onion & Green chilli paste
  • 1 Egg
  • 4 tsp Curd
  • ½ tsp Turmeric powder
  • Garlic Chopped into small pieces
  • Dhania Jeera powder
  • 1 tsp Red Chille powder
  • Kaju paste
  • Khus Khus Paste
  • Ginger Garlic paste
  • Salt
  • Oil
  • Cashews ( kaju)
  • Lime Juice
  • Black Cardamom, Green Cardamom, Black Pepper, India Bay Leaf, Cinnamon, Cloves, Cumin seeds

Preparation Method

Step-1:-    Marinating
After  washing Chicken piece add Salt, Curd, Red chilly powder, Turmeric powder & lime juice to it, mix well and keep aside for  30 mins.
You may take small or medium size Chicken pieces, its up to your choice and your preference



Step-2
Now switch on the stove, Take a pan & pour oil in it. Then add those marinated chicken pieces in oil and fry for 15 to 20 mins. After Chicken get fried well take it out in a clean and dry plate



Step:- 3
  • Now in the same pan again add 4 tsp oil, when the oil gets heated add Black & Green cardamom, Black pepper, Indian Bay leaf, a small piece cinnamon, cloves & cumin seeds to it and fry them well.
  •  After that, add Onion & tomato paste, Ginger & Garlic paste to it and fry for some time.

  • Then add Salt, Red chilly powder, Dhania Jeera powder to it and mix well for 2 mins
  •  After that add Kush Kush paste & Kaju paste to it and fry till the oil get separated from the Gravy
  • Now add the fried chicken pieces to it and fry for 10 to 15 mins until the chicken pieces get cooked well
  • Then add Egg ( both white and the yellow portion)  to the Gravy, mix slowly and fry for 2 to 3 mins.



Step:- 4
  • Now serve in a Serving bowl and Garnish it with Coriender leaves, Onion pieces ( chopped into very fine and small pieces) & Cashews ( Kaju) and serve hot hot.

Chicken 65


Chicken 65 is a popular, spicy & delicious Startup recipe. There are so many ways of preparing Chicken 65. I have tried a lot out of which I have selected this as one of the best chicken 65 recipe. It can be served as a starter for any parties or when you have guests at home.
Coming to the name of Chicken 65, I have heard a lot of stories how chicken 65 got its name. One was that the original chicken 65 had Sixty fine ingredients in it. A more believed explanation was that Chicken 65 was always the 65th option on the menu at popular restaurants in India.
INGREDIENTS:-
·         400gms Boneless Chicken
·         1 egg white
·         2 tsp Corn flour
·         1 tsp Rice flour
·         ½ tsp Cumin seeds
·         2 tsp Garlic & Ginger paste
·         ½ tsp pepper powder
·         2 Green chillies
·         3-4 Curry leaves
·         Oil for frying
·         Spring onions for garnish
·         1tsp Red chilli powder
·         1 tsp Suger
·         2 tsp Curd
·         Salt to Taste

PREPARATION METHOD

STEP 1:-Wash the Chicken properly, then pat dry and keep aside.

STEP 2:- Marination for Chicken 65
·         To prepare the Marination for chicken, first mix all the below items

Red chillies, Garlic & Ginger paste, Turmeric, lemon juice, Black pepper powder, salt & Yogurt
·         Now use the mix to coat the chicken with it and keep it aside for at least 30 minutes to an hour. You can also store it in a   Refrigerator for overnight



STEP 3:- PREPARATION OF SEASONING
                To prepare seasoning mix Red chillies, yogurt, suger, Garlic paste & salt.

STEP4:-Now take the marinated chicken from the fridge and sprinkle Corn flour & Rice flour over it and mix it well. Now you can add Egg white ( it is optional) to the chicken & mix it well till all the ingredients have come together.

STEP 5:-
·         Now  Heat oil in a pan
·         Add chicken pieces to the oil & fry them till they turn golden  & Crispy
            Once fried take them out and keep aside

STEP 6:-
·         To the Same pan, add the earlier prepared seasoning to it.
·         Once the seasoning starts to bubble, add the fried chicken pieces to it & fry on a medium flame till all the moisture has vanished and chicken has become slightly crispy. Then switch off the stove and take the chicken in a serving bowl

STEP7:- FOR TEMPERING
·         Now again add some oil in the same pan
·         Once the oil is heated, add cumin seeds, green chillies, Curry leaves to it.
·         Fry them till they turn crispy and pour it on the deep fried chicken strips.
·         Finally garnish it with chopped spring onions to it and serve it hot hot.


RECIPE NOTE

Using egg white is optional, it locks in the chicken juices and keep it soft but it will leave an egg smell if you are serving later after a while. If you use yogurt no need to use egg. But be sure add either yogurt or egg which keeps you chicken soft.

Tandoori Chicken Recipe





IGREDIENTS :
  • 1 whole chicken, separated into breasts, legs, wings and thighs
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 tablespoon garam masala
  • 4 cloves garlic, finely grated
  • 1 inch of ginger, finely grated
  • 1/2 tablespoon dry ginger powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon ground red chili
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 tablespoon crushed methi (fenugreek) leaves
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon powdered red food coloring
  • Thinly sliced white onions and lemon, to serve

Procedure :

  1. In a medium bowl, add all ingredients except chicken, and stir until combined.
  2. Make deep slashes in chicken and pour marinade over top. Gently massage the chicken and ensure all sides are coated.
  3. Place in fridge to marinate for up to 24 hours.
  4. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
  5. Bake chicken for about 30 minutes, or until firm to the touch and juices run clear. Serve with onions and lemon. Enjoy!
